Photography for the Lustenau organic farm Vetterhof in Vorarlberg: For this sustainable farm, which has been running alternative forms of farming for several family generations, I took photos for their website about the farm, work, shop, market and field. The harvested vegetables are packed into vegetable crates every week and delivered by the pedal pirates to Vorarlberg vegetable crate subscribers by e-bike or e-car weekly. They also keep a herd of cattle, which provides high-quality meat and fertilizer. Their fields in Lustenau grow domestic as well as more exotic organic vegetables such as potatoes, tominampur, carrots, onions, Chinese cabbage, rimmed, fennel or broccoli and carrots. Others include white cabbage, red cabbage, celery, savoy cabbage, pack Choi, tomatoes, pumpkin, zucchini, mellanzani and much more. I visited the cold stores, growing rooms and greenhouses. I was present at the cabbage harvest and tomato care and watched the employees cleaning and packing the vegetables. It was nice to get a little insight into the company, to look over the shoulders of the employees (young people all over the place) at work and to capture all this with my camera.
You can find the photos of the farm shop, market stall and portraits of employees in the second part of the Vetterhof photo gallery.
