Aurelio Gourmet Tour
The 5 star S- Hotel Aurelio in Lech organized a gourmet tour with “Arlberg & Friends”, a community of top chefs, service staff, sommeliers, traders, farmers and producers around the Arlberg. I photographed the culinary event. Eight stations were served by the chefs Christian Rescher (Aurelio Lech), Markus Niederwanger (Aurelio Lech), Thorsten Probost (Burg Vital Oberlech), Andreas Rumpf (Stäfeli Zug), Jonathan Burger (Hirschen Schwarzenberg), Norman Ewald (Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna), Sascha Kämmerer (Ifen Hirschegg) and Christian Zangerl (Handl Tyrol). The guests were allowed to look behind the scenes of the hotel – from the main kitchen to the production kitchen to the kitchen of Chalet Aurelio. There were delicacies such as rabbit Dim Sum from Flötzerhof, goat kid from Metzler in Egg, quail fried chicken, Duroc pork from Flötzerhof, beef from Höllerschmid, confit lake char and pike-perch, calf’s heart and smoked eel from Lech fish pond.
